"We need to discuss what changes and what differences there will be between our lands," Hiccup declared.
"Probably not much different considering that we take after our parents quite often," Merida replied.
"And there is the matter of good relationships that we need to maintain," Astrid declared.
"And you shall have it," Elthibar declared. "You will have my full apology for everything that has happened in the last couple of years."
"There is no need for an apology," Reverend Andrew declared. "I know full well about the situation that happened between you and Astrid and you two are mature enough and have come to a good conclusion."
"As long as there is no tension between the pagans and the Christians on Berk, I am fine with it," Friar Brian explai
Merida and Elthibar, Life of a King and Queen, P7Merida was making sure all the people had their needs taken care of. She even reviewed the grand opening of the University as there were many who had gone to the University of Oxford and had learned so much and yet still managed to keep their own culture. This would make college cheaper for everyone in Dunbroch as they wouldn't have to travel all the way to England for a good college.Merida and Elthibar, Life of a King and Queen, P7 by LordElthibar
"My people, I am proud to present you the opening of Highland College," Merida declared. "For this our next generation will journey to greatness. Here we can study the matters of this world and the matters of the Bible. God has blessed us and with His gifts, we shall bring our realm to a new era of greatness!"
As Merida finished, the crowd cheered. She felt happy and knew that it would please her father that it wasn’t named after him because he became king of an independent kingdom of the highlands for the sake of his people, not to seek glory for himself or his household. To Fergus, honor was alway
Merida and Elthibar, Life of a King and Queen, P6Elthibar and Merida had many led into the courtyard for a special moment. As it was a few months later, the final front of the war had been brought to an official ceasefire, Elthibar and Merida had something to unveil in the inner courtyard of the castle. Merida had finally come to the acceptance that her father was gone. She had done what she believed her father wanted to do, to finally move on. For Elthibar it was another matter as he finally gave up on trying to have a bargain with God to allow him to come back.Merida and Elthibar, Life of a King and Queen, P6 by LordElthibar
"Members of Clan Dunbroch, MacGuffin, Macintosh, and Dingwall, we have recently come to the conclusion of the war and with it the death of our beloved King Fergus," Merida proclaimed. "I know it is difficult to understand why this should happen, but we live in a broken world. This is why it is up for the brave and the noble to defend the weak when it comes to the toughest of circumstances to defend those who need help and to help those who are in need. We supported an army t
Merida and Elthibar, Life of a King and Queen, P5It was Elthibar who awoke first the next morning. The rays of the sun were already shinning in down on Merida's face. Elthibar buried his face in Merida's hair for a moment. It smelled like Scottish pine and the ash trees of the highlands. As he arose and got dressed, he pulled the blanket over Merida, and had hoped that no one would be angered with him as he felt that he would do something drastic.Merida and Elthibar, Life of a King and Queen, P5 by LordElthibar
He ended up going to the castle chapel next. He knew that it was a useless request but he tried so anyway. As he had overcome the anger, he was at the stage of bargaining for he felt that it was better than being angry and dwelling in self pity. As he knelt before the alter of the chapel, he began to pray.
"Lord, I do not know that I am qualified for the job," Elthibar prayed. "If my departure could be of some service, please bring Fergus back and take me in his stead. I know I should have loved him better and appreciated him more but it isn't fair that he should take the punishment for my
